March 9-11, 2015
at the Seaside Convention Center
The time for our 2015 Annual Enrichment Conference in Seaside, Oregon is quickly approaching. This year's keynote speaker, Dr. Bruce Ware, Professor of Christian Theology at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, will be addressing us on one of the most important topics that communicators of God's Word need to address. When we behold the wonder of the Triune persons of the Godhead in relational community, we see that which is foundational to God's kingdom. God's church, his relational covenant community, the very body of Christ, cannot even begin to be understood apart from looking intently at the wonder of the Trinity. The looking glass of the Word of God, illuminated by the Holy Spirit, allows us to behold the wonder of our God.
Unfortunately, the very hermeneutic that we apply to help us understand the community of the Godhead is often wrongly applied. What was intended to be understood in the "WE", i.e. the church, is applied to the "I", i.e. the individual. Dr. Ware will help us discover a hermeneutic of "WE", so that we may communicate God's Word with hermeneutical integrity. Bring your Bible, your notebook and your thinking cap. I believe this will be foundational as we move forward as teachers of God's Word.
Feel free to share this opportunity to build a stronger and healthier covenant community with anyone you feel would benefit from these three days together in March. We look forward to seeing you in Seaside at the Convention Center March 9-11.

Dr. Mark A. Hoeffner
At the Annual Enrichment Conference our hope is that you would experience three things while we are together. First, that you would be reminded of, and re-committed to, our previously agreed upon vision and mission that is to be lived out in covenant community. Second, that you would be blessed by your interaction with the other churches in our covenant community — whether that comes from the stage, worship times, forums, in the lobby or around a meal. Third, that you would have the opportunity to bless another church.
We are excited for you to take advantage of the variety of amenities and attractions offered while in Seaside.
Make the most of every opportunity to connect with old friends and make new ones as we help each other grow in love.
Don't let this special week slip by. Let's make this gathering a foretaste of the eternal reality to come!

Nate Dunn has been the Director of Worship and Arts at Salem First Baptist Church since 2008. Prior to that he led worship at SFB since 2003. He has been playing guitar and leading worship in various ways since the age of 16.
After experiencing the call of God at the age of 13, he elected to attend Corban University and studied Church Music. Even though he has a godly heritage with several pastors in his family line, Nate resisted the call of God into ministry for several years. After a college internship at SFB, he decided that the church seemed like a good place for a young man to get chewed up and spit out! In retrospect, God would spend the following years growing Nate and calling him back to Himself and His purpose.
After several years in the finance industry as well as owning a small business, Nate had made his life sufficiently miserable and he finally responded obediently to a call to lead worship at SFB. What started out as a part-time, temporary position has turned into the fulfillment of God's call on Nate's life. He has learned that you can't run from your calling and although sometimes hard, obeying God always brings the most joy and satisfaction possible.
Nate has been married to Liz since 1998 and they have three children, Ingrid, Gretchen, and Jonathan. They love to run together, play sports as a family, and watch movies as often as their busy schedule allows. Nate and Liz write music constantly, are always working on becoming better musicians, and love being able to sing and have jam sessions with their kids as they get older.
Levi pastors at Cornerstone Christian Fellowship in John Day, OR. He and his wife Kathryn, have four children-Matt, Tyler, Parker and Kristina, along with the family dog-Chester. If you were to drive through Grant County, it's likely that you would see Levi jogging to train for a marathon, carving up a corner on his motorcycle or helping drive a herd of cattle. His laugh is contagious and the only thing that surpasses his humor is his desire to follow Jesus.
