In Acts 13:1-2, the five leaders of the church at Antioch are described as taking time in “ministering to the Lord and fasting.” There is no indication that they were seeking anything from God. All that we are told is that they were “ministering to the Lord and fasting.” Period. But it is while their hearts are focused on worshipping God and ministering to Him that they are able to hear the voice of His Spirit saying, “Set apart for Me, Barnabas, and Saul…” Had this been the average church in America, a strategic planning session might have been in full swing! But not in Antioch! Their sights were set on God and God alone. What might happen if today’s church leadership were to regularly set aside time to seek the face of God – sit at His feet – be still before Him? What might He reveal to us? What world–changing ministries might God give birth to? Let's gather to seek the face of God as a covenant community.
Gospel Fluency! How to speak gospel truth in a way that both Christians and non-Christians will understand. In an age of cultural resistance and biblical illiteracy, communicating the message of the gospel is often challenging, whether in evangelism or discipleship. This training will give you practical skills on how to use language that people with limited biblical background can understand. It will also help you share your faith in Jesus within a gospel framework that is interesting and compelling to people who hear it.
At the Annual Enrichment Conference our hope is that you would experience three things while we are together. First, that you would be reminded of, and re-committed to, our previously agreed upon vision and mission that is to be lived out in covenant community. Second, that you would be blessed by your interaction with the other churches in our covenant community — whether that comes from the stage, worship times, forums, in the lobby or around a meal. Third, that you would have the opportunity to bless another church.
All summer long are options for kids grades 3-12, ranging from 3 to 5 nights. Our theme this year is The Hive: Bees thrive within the context of their designed social relationships, so also do people within a church. Join us this summer for some bee humor as we buzz through God's plan for your life in His hive.
This gathering is aimed at providing a space for the men of your church to live out their calling of healthy fatherhood. The weekend is not driven by new information on how to be a father or son, but by intentional experiences that allow you to be dad and boys to be son's as God intended. This is also a great event to bring the boys that God has put in your path who do not have a father in their home.
We envision an event to bring groups of women from our community of churches together for a time of Refreshment away from normal routines and responsibilities where women are Encouraged to look beyond themselves to build community and redemptive relationships. Women will be Stimulated and challenged to see God's perspective in their lives and have their hearts redirected towards God.
