Speakers: Joy Of It

This year we welcome a team of ladies from 'Joy Of It.' This ministry looks to find points of intersection where individuals, organizations, and non-profits meet to connect, and partner in creating multicultural, multigenerational, and multi-socioeconomic spaces. We believe we represent Jesus best together - When we are united, we can do great things.

We will be having four of them speak:

Mary Merriweather

Summer Camp

Mary is a Pastor at Northeast Community Fellowship Church in Portland. She and her husband, Pastor George, planted the Northeast Community Fellowship Foursquare Church in 1991. They thrive to be Real, Relevant and Relational in service to God and ministry people.

Mary is also a certified Life-Coach and founder of Life By Design, LLC whose mission is to encourage, empower and inspire living life by design.

Julie Widman

Summer Camp

She co-founded Friendzy, a friendship curriculum for students K-8. She believes when kids learn friendship, they learn it for life. And this goes for us as women too! Julie is a coffee drinker, mom, music lover, and recovering control freak. She has a heart for authentic, genuine and real friendships.

Ashley Bell

Summer Camp

Ashley currently works for Portland Rescue Mission as the Equipping Manager. She believes that discipleship is not only an essential part of our relationship with Jesus, but that it is essential in the process of becoming astute, kind, loving disciples of Jesus. She is committed to engage relationally, and lovingly with the ever changing and present social realities. During her free time you'll find Ashley watching one of her favorite movies or throwing down some sushi with friends.

Deanne Welberg

DeAnne values her family legacy of faith and her hobbies include traveling, running in the outdoors, and spending time with friends. This gifted communicator has a heart for helping women unlock their God-given potential.
