This year we are planning to take a look at the scriptures and see what it has to say about being a junior higher who follows Jesus and joins His mission.

One major advantage to partnering with other churches for a weekend event is that you don't have to manage all of the logistics. You and your leaders will get to spend your time with the students. We'll tap into all the fun stuff at Tadmor so there is ample opportunity for walls to come down and relationships to be built.

Ben Bedlion, Youth Pastor at University Park Baptist

Ben Bedlion is the youth pastor at University Park Baptist Church in Portland, OR, where he has been for the past 3.5 years. He has served in youth ministry for close to 9 years, as well as worship ministry. He has been married to Leanne for 2 years and they just had their first baby in July, Kaylin.

Joel Varner, Executive Director of Forge Albany

Joel Varner has served in youth ministry for over 16 years. Currently, he is a director of Forge Albany, a ministry which trains people to live as missionaries where they're already doing life. Joel is married Brenna, his wife of 15 years, and has two daughters, Sarah and Claire.

Worship

30 West

Thirty West comes from the St. Helens, OR area. Several band members have been involved in leading worship for the last 16 years. Each member of the group has previously served as youth leaders or volunteers and now currently serve as a part of the worship teams for the churches they attend.

Emcees

James Garner

James is a longtime youth leader and now Program Director at Tadmor. He has a heart for teens and a heart for God's word. He has a lovely wife of 10 years, Alyssa and two young children, Willamette and Rogue. He enjoys hiking, cycling, and mountain climbing. He believes that anything worth doing is worth overdoing. He will definitely be taking this MO into the growth getaway weekends.

Jordan Honer

Is currently serving as the Intern at Camp Tadmor where he gets to be involved in ministry working with and prepping for campers on a daily basis. Has a passion for sharing the gospel and building relationship with kids through camp. Super pumped to be able to be a part of Growth Getaway and eat some bacon with all of you.

$64 Per Person by the early bird dates!!!
Each church can register their group and reserve spaces for their students and sponsors!!
All attendees get a free t-shirt!
Sept 30 - Oct 2nd Growth Getaway early bird price of $64pp by September 15th, then it goes up to $74pp September 16th.
Nov 4-6th Growth Getaway early bird price of $64 by October 20th, then it goes up to $74pp October 21st.
